1. Vision

To create a platform that cultivates peace, dialogue, and cultural cooperation between East and West, not as abstract ideals but as everyday practices that connect people, ideas, values, and spaces. The Platform aims to promote shared humanity, creativity, diversity, heritage, and mutual respect, positioning Türkiye as a bridge not only of geography but of empathy and understanding.

2. Mission

To advance the practice and philosophy of cultural diplomacy by connecting private and public figures who believe in the power of culture as a tool for peacebuilding, cooperation, and societal transformation.

For this initiative, cultural diplomacy is the use of culture through arts, education, heritage, language, and shared experiences to foster understanding, trust, and cooperation among peoples and nations. It operates both formally, through state institutions, and informally, through business people, artists, educators, media, and civil society. Beyond projecting soft power, it builds lasting connections grounded in empathy and dialogue, the very tools that can open doors where formal diplomacy struggles.

3. Objectives

 A. Dialogue & Understanding

Foster genuine cross-cultural dialogue between regional and international actors to strengthen mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and shared values.

• Open safe and non-political spaces for dialogue where traditional diplomacy may be limited.
• Counter polarization, misinformation and xenophobia through storytelling, cultural engagement, and knowledge-sharing.

 B. Knowledge & Inspiration

Provide members with access to cutting-edge cultural diplomacy knowledge, research, and creative learning opportunities.

• Host workshops, lectures, and thematic forums combining policy, research, and creativity toinspire collective reflection and collaborative approaches.
• Promote inclusive narratives about migration, identity, and belonging that reframe perceptions and promote empathy.
• Integrate case studies from Türkiye, the Arab world, and Europe, reflecting lessons on cultural soft power, resilience, and reform.

 C. Cultural Exposure

A cultural journey in Türkiye and across the MENA, Mediterranean, and European regions that aims to:

• Highlight the diversity of artistic and heritage expressions that connect people across borders.
• Showcase shared histories and interwoven cultures that shape contemporary regional identities.

 D. Regional Cooperation

Build cultural and educational bridges linking Türkiye to Arab, European, and Asian communities.

• Serve as a soft power tool that encourages cooperation beyond governments, strengthening people-to-people diplomacy.
• Support collaborative projects that integrate heritage preservation, tourism, and cultural innovation.

 E. Youth & Education

Engage young leaders, artists, educators, and students to nurture a new generation of cultural diplomats.

• Facilitate mentorship and leadership programs in cultural diplomacy and intercultural communication.
• Empower youth to act as ambassadors of tolerance, dialogue, and creativity in their societies.
• Establish Youth Peace Labs for co-creating innovative projects that counter stereotypes through art and dialogue.

• Educators, peacebuilders, and students interested in cross-cultural learning

Special membership pathways could be created for young cultural ambassadors and women leaders in diplomacy.
